This project in the North Carolina Highlands community was over two years in the making. Your project may not take this long to complete but it is nice to know The Ormond Team will be there from beginning to end.
The following systems are part of this Highlands residence.
• Centralized automation using Crestron's™ 3-Series system
• Custom graphical user interface (GUI) designed for ease of use in each area of the home. Wall mounted touch panels and iPads are located conveniently throughout home.
• 4K Digital video distribution for 8 locations
• Music server, internet radio, XM radio, AM/FM radio and streaming music services like Pandora are distributed to 14 locations.
• Media room that includes an 85" Sony 4k TV, 7.2 surround sound, Tannoy iW63 DC , acoustically transparent cloth walls and an iPad custom programmed for remote control.
• Over 165 lighting loads inside and an extensive landscape lighting design are included in this lighting package. Wall mounted keypads and a custom programmed GUI for iPads give easy control of all lights, lamps and special scenes.
• Burglary, fire & digital camera surveillance systems with video doorbell, DVR and cloud storage backup
• A robust professional data communications system with a wifi router and VPN access for the home office
• 7 zones of HVAC control including outdoor fountain control, whole house water control and exterior screen control
• Gate video monitoring, acess and control
• Bear fence control
